Our story
The Shift journey
Shift began in 2010 as an energy consulting firm focused on helping organizations reduce their energy use and carbon footprint. What started as a mission to uncover efficiencies quickly evolved — from designing and delivering high-performance lighting retrofits to developing full design-build energy projects that redefined how buildings consume power.
As technologies advanced and the clean energy landscape expanded, Shift took the next step: integrating solar generation and energy storage solutions. Today, we bring together over a decade of expertise in energy optimization and renewable construction — helping clients generate, store, and manage their own clean energy with confidence.
